Rayner Intraocular Lenses Limited<\/a> (\u201cWe\u201d) run this site (\u201cthe Rayner Site\u201d) for visitors who may wish to obtain information or to purchase our products using the Rayner Site. Access to our lens calculator \u201cRaytrace\u201d is freely available to users of the Rayner Site.<\/p>\n

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We are registered with the Information Commissioner\u2019s Office (the \u201cICO\u201d) as a data controller and our processes regarding the management and processing of personal data are designed to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation [EC 2016 \/ 679].     Information supplied by or about users of the Rayner Site is gathered by us and for us. Information not gathered directly by us is gathered via a contracted third party (\u201cService Provider\u201d) on our behalf. The Service Provider is a registered data controller. The Service Provider uses a number of security measures including Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software which encrypts and ensures the security of any information you input using the Site. The Service Provider is based in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

    Personal information is gathered directly when, for example, you register on the Rayner Site or for the purposes of using Raytrace. Personal information is information from which you, or another person, can be identified, for example name, address or date of birth. If you enter a third party\u2019s personal data when using the Rayner Site you warrant that you have that person\u2019s consent to enter such data on our system.<\/p>\n

    Tracking Information and Cookies<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Tracking information is gathered indirectly when you access the Rayner Site. This information is automatically gathered and does not include personal information about you. Tracking information is gathered using \u201ccookies\u201d<\/a> or small data files which can be used, for example, to track the pages you visit. Although cookies do not hold personal information about you they are unique to each user of the Rayner Site so that the Site computers can distinguish between users. We may supply some of the information to a Rayner appointed distributor but only to the extent necessary to ensure we can provide you with the information, services or products you request from us.       If you register with us and use Raytrace<\/a> for the purposes of ordering lenses we will provide for the storage and retrieval of your personal data in connection with the use of the calculator. By registering to use Raytrace you warrant that your data and its use do not infringe the rights of any third party. You are responsible for ensuring that the data you enter is accurate and that you have obtained prior consent to the entry of any third party personal data by you.<\/p>\n

      Personal data will be stored for as long as is reasonably necessary to provide to you the products and services you require. On the basis of pursuing our legitimate interests, we may use your personal data to communicate with you about products or services we think may be of interest to you.<\/p>\n

      With the exception of our distributors and for the purpose described above, we will not normally disclose personal information to third parties unless required by law to do so.<\/p>\n

      Tracking Information<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Tracking information is used only for statistical analysis purposes, for example, to determine how many people have accessed the Site and the number of people logging in to use Raytrace.<\/p>\n
