Launching at ESCRS 2026, Galaxy Hydrophobic will join the current hydrophilic Galaxy lens to offer choice of material to surgeons, without compromising on visual performance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Galaxy Hydrophobic: Built on a Proven Platform<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Since its 2024 debut, more than 200,000 Galaxy implantations have taken place across 75 countries. The full-range-of-vision IOL, which was designed with a proprietary AI engine tuned for optimal patient outcomes, has built a strong clinical record for delivering continuous vision from near to distance, without the light loss and halo\/glare trade-offs associated with diffractive trifocal lenses.<\/p>\n<p>At ESCRS, Rayner will introduce the same proprietary Galaxy spiral optic in its glistening-free hydrophobic material. RayOne Galaxy Hydrophobic features Rayner&#8217;s longstanding Amon-Apple 360\u00b0 Enhanced Square Edge as well as a new precision laser-cutting manufacturing process to minimise PCO.
