The RayOne family features the pioneering EMV lens platform, and now the Galaxy and Galaxy Toric, Rayner&#8217;s fasting growing lenses since the world\u2019s first IOL back in 1949.<\/p>\n<p>Playing a lead role in the futureproofing of Rayner\u2019s facility, Tom Heron, Head of Manufacturing, said \u201c\u201cWe are thrilled to have completed our latest factory expansion. This development enables us to uphold our rigorous quality control standards as we continue to grow\u2014including four meticulous inspections of every single IOL. Combined with the opening of our new global warehouse near Gatwick Airport in 2024, this expansion reinforces our commitment to an uninterrupted supply for customers worldwide.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>David Forsythe, Rayner Chief Operating Officer, commented \u201cOur teams have worked incredibly hard to bring this ambitious expansion to life, which included the installation of an additional autoclave, automation and investing in new energy efficient plant equipment.
