Justin Barnes

Justin joined the Board in July 2018. In addition, he currently serves as a non-executive director of Edixomed Limited and Sandows (London) Limited, and is a partner of Elixir Ventures, a health-care focused venture capital firm he co-founded in 2016. He has a portfolio of investee companies he also advises.
Previously, Justin spent 25 years in healthcare, where he co-founded and developed a number of international medical device companies, each with global research, development, manufacturing and sales organisations; in market leading positions; and each sold to corporate trade buyers in successful exits.
Prior to his business career, Justin was a soldier in the British Army.
Justin is married to Helen and has two sons, with whom he spends most weekends between August and May following Tottenham Hotspur around more in hope than expectation.
