Returns Policy

Important Customer Information

1. Rayner accepts returned IOLs for exchange only
2. Returned IOLs are not accepted for cash credit or cash refunds
3. Carriage on returned IOLs is to be paid by the customer
4. All returned IOLs must have a Returns Authorisation Number obtained prior to despatching the IOLs to Rayner by contacting the local Customer Services Department
5. Returns made without a Returns Authorisation Number cannot be processed
6. The issue of the Returns Authorisation Number does not imply any commitment by Rayner to exchange all the IOLs returned
7. To qualify for exchange, returned IOLs must be currently manufactured styles in unopened original packs returned to Rayner within 6 months of purchase
8. IOLs returned with adhesive labels and/or writing on the carton cannot be accepted for exchange. IOLs with damaged or dirty IOL cartons also do not qualify for exchange
9. Obsolete IOL models (models Rayner no longer advertises) cannot be accepted for exchange
10. Rayner does not re-sterilise IOLs
11. No exchange can be given for returned IOLs lost or damaged in shipment
12. Out of date IOLs cannot be accepted for exchange

Very Important

13. To return, please pack the IOLs in a box, do not use a jiffy bag or envelope as invariably the IOLs are damaged in transit, and this will adversely affect your exchange request and/or may lead to a charge being made

Consignment Stock – Customer Notes

1. A Consignment Stock is an agreed quantity of IOLs supplied at no charge for your convenience
2. The IOLs that constitute your Consignment Stock may be varied to suit your needs
3. Changes to the quantity of Consignment Stock can only be made after Rayner receives written instructions from you and should follow discussions with your local representative
4. Your Consignment Stock ideally will be delivered by your local representative who will explain how to use the system
5. Please check the IOLs upon receipt and sign for their safe delivery
6. You will be asked to sign a Consignment Stock agreement with Rayner for the Consignment Stock you receive
7. The Consignment Stock remains the property of Rayner but whilst on your premises the safe storage of the stock becomes your responsibility
8. Please do not write on IOL cartons or stick labels on them, as, should you wish to return any IOL, marks on the outer pack will make them unusable for other customers
9. When IOLs are used from Consignment Stock, they should be re-ordered at the earliest opportunity to avoid low stock problems. You do not have to order exactly the same IOLs as you have used
10. You may order IOLs by telephone, post, or email by using our Replacement Order Forms
11. All re-ordered IOLs are invoiced
12. We will only be able to confirm the quantity and the details of the initial Consignment Stock, thereafter only quantity can be confirmed
