Rayner Acquires Stake in Sustainable Surgical Instrument Belgian Manufacturer HASA OPTIX

Worthing, United Kingdom. Rayner, the pioneering manufacturer and supplier of ophthalmic solutions for cataract and refractive surgery, announced today that it has entered into a commercial partnership and concurrently acquired a stake in HASA OPTIX.
The investment closed June 7th, 2022.
Rayner has entered into a commercial partnership with Brussels-based medical device company HASA OPTIX, a leading manufacturer of high-quality, recyclable single use ophthalmic surgical instruments and instrument sets.
Commenting on the investment, Rayner CEO, Tim Clover remarked: “HASA OPTIX’s commitment to high quality single use and recyclable ophthalmic surgical instruments delivering the same quality and look and feel as reusable instruments makes for a very compelling business opportunity and aligns with the crucial role of quality in the design and manufacture of Rayner IOLs.
