Rayner achieves top 17% score in 2023 EcoVadis ratings

Rayner, a global manufacturer of products for cataract surgery, is delighted to have scored within the top 17% of companies in the 2023 EcoVadis ratings.
EcoVadis is the world’s largest provider of business sustainability ratings, assessing a global network of over 100,000 companies. The first of Rayner’s assessments in 2022 resulted in a respectable Bronze Award, at 54/100. Since then, departments across Rayner have collaborated to embed policies, practices and processes that focus on and drive improved ‘ESG’ (environmental, social and governance) performance. Initiatives such as reducing packaging waste, switching from paper IFU leaflets to downloadable eIFU documents, and the introduction of beehives to Rayner’s headquarters in Worthing, have resulted in an improved score for 2023 at 63/100.
